Stories of Change in Prison Ministry Of CCTV

In one of our correctional facility, the Tutors training of CCDMZ incorporated into CCTV has seen significant behavior change among inmates.
One of our prison sites has managed to produce a musical album which has also been supported by TEEZ to enable the inmates successfully launch it in 2020.The inmates are experiencing the transformational power of the gospel through their involvement in the TEEZ Tutors’ Training.

Stories of Change in WISE Green Church Initiative

The WISE Green Church Initiative has contributed to the Churches’ role in implementing adaptation and mitigation strategies aimed at promoting environmental and climate justice campaign.
The growing of fruit trees has boosted household nutrition in Ndola where individuals and churches participating are seeing the benefits of implementing the WISE Green Church Initiative.

Stories of Change in BETTER Church & Society

After training Pastors and their spouses in the BETTER Church and Society in September 2021, we formed two cohorts of BETTER Church Groups. Each cohort was drawn from different districts and provinces which included Chirundu, Lusaka, Ndola, Mpongwe, Kitwe, Mansa in Cohort 1 (Kitwe Training) and Sesheke, Mwandi , Livingstone, Kalomo, Choma, Mazabuka in Cohort 2 (Livingstone Training).

Following these trainings, the Livingstone Clergy & Spouses FAITH Saving Groups launched their group with an initial saving of K11,000 in October 2021. In the second saving, they contributed about K20,000. The group went to make the third saving.
At the end of December 2021 the Livingstone TEEZ Clergy & Spouses BETTER Church Saving Group managed to share their money to empower each other amid COVID 19. The sharing was necessitated so that they start a new saving cycle that will run from January to December 2022.

Stories of Change in Timothy Leadership Training (TLT)

The Churches are using Timothy Leadership Training (TLT) to show that God has given us power and that He desires that we use the power to bring transformation in our families, churches and community was one key highlight that participants appreciated.
Rev Paul Shimunza of the AMEC and Mr. Timothy Chishimba of UCZ, Bauleni Congregation in Lusaka are among those who have implemented their action plan.

They implemented Lesson 2 (The Person Who Cares) of Module 1 of the Timothy Leadership Training Manual.
They paid four visits to Bauleni Police Post in which they encouraged those under police custody and provided them with some food humpers in order to show them God’s love despite the charges and cases they might have had.

Our TLT Alumni, Mr James Mwila continues to use Christian Stewardship manual to promote good use of the land. At first, he donated fresh maize to TEEZ staff in 2020 and in 2021 brought tomatoes from his garden

Stories of Change in Providence TEEZ Lodge

Providence TEEZ Lodge is a financial sustainability arm of TEEZ. The property was acquired with the view to raise local financial resources to help the ministry of TEEZ through its monthly grants to TEEZ.

Over the years Providence Lodge started going down and its infrastructure falling apart and becoming more dilapidated. The other structure that was started stalled for about 9 years. By 2021 the story had changed, and the place looks more attractive to the clients.

In 2021 Providence TEEZ Lodge recorded an annual turnover of 1,104,032.00 against the annual incomes of between K500,000 and K680,000 in the period 2016 to 2019.

In 2020 we changed staff leadership at the lodge, and this recorded a positive impact of income increase to K728,000. In 2021 we have recorded significant increase of about 70% income. In 2022, the Lodge has increased its incomes from K1,104,032.00 to K1,718,350.00. We are on a path to local financial sustainability.

With the engagement of the right staff and increased investment into Providence TEEZ Lodge has recorded good incomes.
Furthermore, in 2021 the Lodge managed to disburse a total of K 214,804.00 to TEEZ as part of the grant support to the operations of TEEZ’s ministry. In 2022, Providence TEEZ Lodge has disbursed close to K400,000 as part of its grants support to TEEZ’s ministry. The Board of Directors of the Lodge also meet regularly to provide oversight and receive feedback on the performance of the lodge.
